Helta Skelta's set from Boston. There were a lot of good shows on this tour and this was one of them. An essentially 'squatted' garage space with hijacked power; New York crew sniffing glue, coke, whatever they had their hands on in the -6 degree weather with no insulation provided.

The debut 7" from this new band from Perth, Australia. Cold Meat bring you four tracks of snotty, snarky feminist punk which takes cues from somewhere in between the electric eels and the Nixe, as well as contemporary London punk. Although, really, this is just raw terse punk played with a certain amount of aggression and despair. You can feel years of anger and frustration condensed down into a four track / nine minute fuck you to toxic relationships, subjection and self doubt.

Back from the US and the store is back up and running, with a heap of new stock! Left over HELTA SKELTA tour stock will be up in the next couple of days. Will be shutting down the distro for the next couple of months while I'm overseas. Although most HSR releases will still be available from fine distros and stores around Oz. Televised Suicide, Dada Records, No Patience, Nailgun Murder, Eternal Soundcheck, Repressed Records, Lulu's, Space Ritual and others. Thanks a heap to everyone who's helped support the label this year, and helped keep underground music in Australia going more generally. Without supporting tangible and physical formats of music and print this kind of thing wouldn't still be possible.
